Jonathan Nerren
Age 31
Concord, NC

Jonathan Nerren began his drifting career where it all began…Japan. He was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan on-board the USS Curtis WilburDDG-54. Jonathan spent 3 years in Japan drifting at many venues learning from local drifters truly experiencing the Japanese drift scene first hand. His passion for the sport continued when he returned to the U.S. Jonathan began drifting with the Streetwise Drift Amateur Series in 2012 with an s14 chassis utilizing a turbo ka24de. During the offseason, Jonathan was busy at work preparing for his first year in Pro-Am.

For 2013, the name of the game was more power. Jonathan built and installed an LS1/t56 in his 240sx. 2013 was a very busy year for Jonathan. Not only did he finish 7th overall in the SWD Pro-Am Series, he also starred in a new reality motorsports television show called Octane Academy. Jonathan went on to win Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s Camp and finished 2nd overall in the series. For 2014, Jonathan is carrying his momentum pushing for his Formula Drift Pro 2 License.

This year’s off season is just as busy as last years. Hidden Performance built an LS7 which will be mated to a Magnuson Heartbeat Supercharger for this year’s power plant. Tick Performance is building the transmissions and handling all of the tuning. Jonathan Nerren Racing will be unveiling the new livery soon which was designed and wrapped by CL Designs. Stay tuned for the release!
